Business Analyst – Generic

Location: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore

Domain experience : Retail/CPG, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain experience is preferable.

Job Description: The Business Analyst will focus on designing and managing product features and end-to-end user experiences, leveraging automation technologies and reporting tools to enhance business processes. This role involves driving digital transformation through effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and detailed documentation of technical and design specifications.

A. Key Accountabilities:

· Understand and develop business requirements, define product features, and design end-to-end digital user experiences that balance business needs with user-centered solutions.

· Experience with HyperAutomation (Low-code Automation, Power Platform) including As-Is and To-Be process documentation, and basic technical knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath preferred).

· Leverage experience with low-code automation platforms, cloud architecture, and ETL processes for scalable solutions.

· Utilize next-generation technologies (AI, ML, conversational AI, OCR, voice recognition) to enhance and streamline manual processes.

· Design and implement reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools to provide actionable insights.

· Provide detailed documentation and design specifications for development and engineering teams.

· Manage incidents, requirements, root cause analysis, and change requests (CRs) for prioritization.

· Engage with and influence stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.

· Apply design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and design thinking to create intuitive user experiences.

· Collaborate effectively within cross-functional, global teams, managing expectations and fostering teamwork.

· Contribute to digital transformation initiatives with a focus on enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.

· Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Create and integrate new processes with existing ones. Recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts.

· Provide support for system users, including training needs assessments and the creation of training materials.

· Ensure project leaders are reporting on project status, health, risks, issues, and criteria progress.

· Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.

· Stay up to date on industry trends and innovations, applying this knowledge to drive future changes and enhancements in compliance systems.

B. Skills & Requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field

· 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

· Experience in system configuration, interface design, and working with IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, model processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Experience working with IT leadership and coordinating focused programs and plans.

· Proven ability to create clear, detailed, and comprehensive documentation that aligns with project requirements.

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams.

· Experience in estimating, prioritizing, and managing the scope of work to align with business objectives.

· Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering maintainable and efficient solutions.

· Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a proactive approach to staying updated on industry trends.
