Job Description: Web AutomationEngineerPositionOverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled andmotivated Web Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Theideal candidate will have a strong background in web automationusing Python Selenium and Pytest along with experience in APIautomation using Rest Assured. As a Web Automation Engineer youwill be responsible for designing developing and maintainingautomated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our webapplications and APIs.KeyResponsibilities
  • Develop and maintainautomated test scripts using Python Selenium and Pytest for webapplications.
  • Design and implement automatedtests for APIs using Rest Assured.
  • Collaboratewith developers QA analysts and other stakeholders to understandrequirements and develop comprehensive teststrategies.
  • Execute automated tests analyzeresults and report defects andissues.
  • Integrate automated tests into theCI/CD pipeline to ensure continuoustesting.
  • Maintain and enhance the existingautomation framework.
  • Conduct code reviews andensure adherence to best practices in testautomation.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging trendsand technologies in test automation and recommendimprovements.
Required Skills andQualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in web automationusing Python Selenium and Pytest.
  • Strongunderstanding of API testing and experience with RestAssured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools andprocesses (e.g. Jenkins GitLabCI/CD).
  • Proficient in writing clearmaintainable and efficient code.
  • Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.
  • Strong communication and collaborationskills.
  • Experience with version control systems(e.g. Git).
  • Ability to work independently andas part of a team.
PreferredSkills
  • Experience with other testautomation tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge ofperformance testing and tools.
  • Understanding ofBDD (Behavior Driven Development) and related tools (e.g.Cucumber).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms andservices (e.g. AWS Azure).
  • Experience withcontainerization technologies (e.g. DockerKubernetes).
