Sousla responsabilit du vicepr sident op rations le/la vicepr sident(e)Projets majeurs participe activement l laboration des propositionsde projets majeurs et l enti re responsabilit de la r ussite desprojets (projets Conception construction et/ou projets deconstruction forfaitaires d envergure) sous sa gouverne endirigeant l ensemble des op rations de projets en ayant l enti reresponsabilit du leadership d affaires et en atteignant lesobjectifs strat giques d excellence op rationnelle et de croissancetout en privil giant le capital humain. SUMMARY

Underthe supervision of the VicePresident of Operations theVicePresident Major Projects actively participates in thedevelopment of major project proposals and takes fullresponsibility for the success of the projects (design orconstruction projects and/or largescale allinone projects) underhis leadership by directing all project operations having fullresponsibility for business leadership and achieving the strategicobjectives of operational excellence and growth while prioritizinghuman capital. To do this he or she will be part of the proposalteam and will play a key role in obtaining contracts for EBC and/orfor joint ventures in which EBC will participate. He or she willhave to supervise project operations ensure cohesion and goodcommunication with the managers assigned to the projects as well asthe professionals maintain business relations with internal andexternal partners and with clients all in order to meet and exceedperformance indicators.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

  • Developrelationships with subcontractors and potentialpartners.
  • Supportthe start of projects and the assignment of key resources equipmentand workorganization.
  • Interveneduring the project in any technicalproblems.
  • Ensurethat the work is completed on time and onbudget.
  • Organizefrequent sitevisits.
  • Assessand managerisks.
  • Ensurecommunication between the proposal and constructionteams.
  • Activelyparticipate in the optimization of the design and analysis ofproject constructability during the proposal and implementationphases.
  • Maintainoversight of objectives and the financial status ofprojects.
  • Negotiatemajor subcontracting contracts with a view to optimizing prices inaccordance with the quoted prices to maximize profit margins forEBC.
  • Reviewcustomer contracts and negotiate terms during the proposalphase.
  • Workdirectly with clients to ensure that projects meet theirexpectations.
  • Supervisethe negotiations of major changes and the preparation ofclaims.
  • Optimizeprocesses.

  • Auniversity degree in civil engineering or other discipline relatedto engineering construction and projectmanagement.
