• Apply understanding of respective business strategies to produce relevant and substantial data analysis to support business goals and objectives

• Evaluate, innovate, and recommend mathematical and statistical approaches for the improvement of current processes.

• Develop analysis to illustrate business trends and identify areas of business opportunities

• Design and program queries for extracting information and metrics from data stored in various databases.

• Develop, implement, and maintain statistical models.

• Provide supporting data and analysis for business case development for various improvement initiatives.

• Produce insights and recommend business actions to align with strategy and/or solve business problems

• Monitor, investigate, correct, and prevent data quality problems.

• Provide seasoned specialized knowledge, advice and/or mentorship to various business and working partners

• Execute on data requests accurately and within a timely manner

• Represent functional area as analytics & insights professional and key resource; build positive and productive working partnerships

• Act as a bridge to translate business requirements to analytics and reporting needs for a given domain

• Provides day-to-day support and delivery of analytics

• Work independently as the senior analyst/subject matter expert and may coach and educate others

• Considered an authority within a given area

• Oversee and/or independently perform tasks from end to end

• SQL queries management to extract and position or move data for analysis.


Essential: •

Five (5) or more years relevant experience in any related role

• Programming and/or knowledge in: SQL, R, Python, SAS and other data mining programming tools.

• Experience with Power BI/Cognos or a similar BI package.

• Data cleaning, quality assurance and investigating potential issues with a variety of data sets.

• Strong analysis background, analytical and applied logic skills • Sound experience with mathematics / statistical analysis and modeling.

• Creative problem solver who thinks strategically is results-oriented and attentive to details.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
