We’re looking for a technical writer to join our team atSiemens to develop documentation for our enterprise grid application platformand analytics applications. The ideal candidate will be experienced writingproduct documentation for complex, enterprise software applications for a widerange of audiences.

Useyour skills to move the world forward

• Define,write, maintain, and deliver high-quality documentation that empowers ourcustomers and partners to implement, extend, and use Siemens enterprisebusiness applications.

• Collaboratewith developers, product managers, solution consultants, and other writers todevelop and maintain technical and functional information.

• Contributeto defining the documentation strategy for an evolving product landscape.

• Edit,clarify, and proofread documents written by others.

Desirable Requirements

Write clear, accurate, andcomplete technical content with ease and grasp technical material quickly.

• Possesssuperior written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Understandthe documentation needs of developers, administrators, system integrators, anddata analysts.

• Comfortableworking with and writing about current technologies, including Linux, XML,databases, Java, Kafka, AWS, and Web Services.

• Enjoyworking in a variety of environments, whether individually or as part of ateam, face-to-face or remotely, in a fast-paced development culture.

• Highlymotivated with demonstrated ability to take ownership and define work withlittle direction.

• BA/BSin Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, English, or relatedfield.

• 3+years of professional technical writing experience.

• 2+years documenting complex enterprise software products for a technical ordeveloper audience.

• Anyexperience as a system administrator, support engineer, systems integrator, ordeveloper.

• Previousexperience in Smart Grid, MDM (Meter Data Management), or energy domain.

• Priorexperience in Atlassian Confluence.
