About Function/Department

The Times Group IT (TGIT) function plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's technological infrastructure and driving digital transformation initiatives. By maintaining IT systems, automating office processes, and implementing new technologies, TGIT enables operational efficiency, enhances productivity, and fosters innovation across the organization.

About the Position

Compliance is a very critical aspect of Governance framework within TGIT. BCCL has a very large enterprise base of capital as well as operational engagements w.r.t IT operations and requires continuous monitoring and analysis for various aspects of procurement right from requisition creation, approvals, compliance, delivery, and invoicing. It is prudent for the Governance team to manage procurement in a structured manner thereby ensuring IT spends are well withing the allocated budget.

Areas of Responsibility

Procurement:

Cart Creation as per set process. Cart to PR tracking and follow-ups where required AMC Renewals, track and ensure all AMC’s are renewed as per expiry date Fortnightly Meeting with various teams

Payments :

Track all invoices for necessary approvals Track and monitor timely payment of all invoices shared with Finance Review all invoices as per policy and GST standards

Stock Transfer Process :

Review requirements raised by end users Create necessary STO / PR / PO / Invoice as per the information shared by end user Monitor the transfer and close the process once delivered

Trackers and Presentation

Create and maintain trackers for all carts created Create and maintain STO tracker Create and maintain AMC tracker Create and maintain Invoice tracker Prepare fortnightly, monthly and quarterly presentation as per timelines

Presentation Skills Ability to understand technology that is implemented Analytical Thinking Interpersonal Skills Excellent Communication Skills

Educational Qualifications Required

Graduate in any field
