We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London, and Gurgaon. This role will be based out of our Gurgaon office. You will have the flexibility to work two days in the office and three days from home. 

About the role:  

The affiliate shopping team is quickly expanding our product testing efforts, and we have a new opening for a Product Sourcing Coordinator to help call in products for review. This position will act as the point of contact between the shopping editors of our three largest brands (Family Handyman, Taste of Home and Reader’s Digest) and PR representatives for the merchants we feature in our content. Using product details from the editorial team, you will find and contact PR reps to request sample products for testing, as well as track shipments and deliveries and keep our product-testing database up to date.
The right person for this role is a clear communicator who is skilled at multitasking. You will be sourcing products of all kinds—from beauty products to kitchen appliances to outdoor power equipment—and will need strong organization skills to keep many conversations going at once. This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in marketing, communications or content operations. This role will largely operate on a US time schedule.

Your day-to-day: Use internal contacts and internet research to identify the best PR representative for each product the shopping team requests Act as liaison between shopping editors and merchant reps, communicating specific product details and answering merchant questions as necessary to secure sample products Work with shopping editors to identify the proper product tester for each sample; communicate testing expectations and discuss availability with freelancers and internal staff Keep track of product shipments and deliveries in our product testing database; contact stakeholders as necessary to communicate delays or changes You have: 1+ year experience with project-based work that demonstrates your organization skills Fluency in the English language English or Communications degree, or a related field Strong writing skills and some editing or copy-editing experience Clear and timely written communication skills; proactive follow-up is a big part of this role Comfort with multi-tasking (you will be sourcing many products at once) Interest in marketing, communications or content operations About this team:
