Job Summary

Responsible for the design, implementation, operational support of the Company internet protocol network. Provides expert-level technical advice and support for real time analysis, design, testing and operations of internet protocol router networks, etc. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Network Design to review and understand business requirements, high-level designs, and low-level designs.
  • Prepare provisioning procedures (MoP) for the deployment of high priority projects/services, test and deploy the solution in production. Review and feedback on GIT configuration templates.
  • Review and approve procedures and best practises of other team members.
  • Act as a technical domain expert – possess detailed knowledge of hardware/software architecture and act as a point of contact for various engineers in the team.
  • Become a role model for other members in the team.
  • Identify and solve complex problems within your area​. Make suggestions and bring continues improvements.
  • Owning respective platforms for the entire lifecycle of the platform encompassing commissioning, maintaining, and retiring of platform.
     
     

Skillset

Must have:

Excellent communication and presentation skills CCNP Service Provider or equivalent 
Service provider , implementation.
Expert with IOS-XR based platforms such as Cisco NCS/ASR routers – Software upgrade(both configuration and device mgmt./OS upgrade). 
Strong experience and knowledge of ISIS, OSPF, MPLS(l2,L3 VPN Technology) , BGP, QOS, Segment routing, EPE (egress peer engineering), EVPN, Telemetry. , Hsrp , Vrrp,
switching.
Understanding of distributed Hardware architecture of Cisco NCS5K, ASR9K, and their operating systems. 
Experience with Netconf/Yang models
Strong knowledge of GIT 

Good to have:

Experience with Nokia Timos platforms
Knowledge of Python or any other programming language
