  • Collaborating with oncologists andother specialists to develop treatmentplans
  • Participating in tumor boards andmultidisciplinary team meetings
  • Providingpostoperative care and monitoring patientrecovery
  • Utilizing minimally invasivetechniques when appropriate
  • Participating inclinical research and trials related tooncology
  • Training and supervising medicalstudents residents and fellows
  • Contributing toquality improvement initiatives within the surgicaldepartment
  • Remaining updated on new techniquesand advancements in oncologicalsurgery

RequiredQualifications
  • Medicaldegree from an accreditedinstitution
  • Completion of a surgical residencyprogram
  • Board certification in general surgeryand surgical oncology
  • Valid state medicallicense and DEA registration
  • Proven experiencein oncological surgical procedures
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills
  • Abilityto work effectively in a multidisciplinaryteam
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoingprofessional development
  • Strong ethical andprofessional conduct
  • Experience in clinicalresearch and publication inoncology
