We are seeking a Junior CNC Programmer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Junior CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with a work experience requirement of 1 to 3 years. The job is based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in CNC programming
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and reading technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining processes and programming languages
- Ability to set up and operate CNC machines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and upgrade skills as needed
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and programming requirements
- Write and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Select and set up cutting tools and other accessories needed for machine operation
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance to keep machines in good working condition
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
