TheCommand Center Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficientand effective operation of the command center including theplanning and management of seating arrangements coordinatingsystems and developing plans to support the organizationsoperational goals. This role requires strong organizational skillsattention to detail and the ability to adapt to dynamic operationalneeds.

KeyAccountabilities

SeatingArrangementPlanning:
Design and implement seating plans tooptimize workflow and communication within the commandcenter.
Ensure seating arrangements comply with healthsafety and ergonomic standards.
Adjust seating plans asneeded to accommodate new personnel changes in team structure oroperationaldemands.

OperationalPlanning:
Develop and implement detailed operationalplans to ensure the command center meets its strategicobjectives.

Coordinatewith various departments to ensure resource availability andalignment with organizational goals.
Create contingencyplans for emergency situations ensuring the command center canrespond reliably to unforeseenevents.

ResourceManagement:
Allocate resources efficiently to supportthe command centers operations.
Monitor and handle theavailability of personnel equipment and other resources.
Develop and maintain resource management databases andtools.

Scheduling:
Develop and lead shift schedules forcommand center staff to ensure adequate coverage at alltimes.
Adjust schedules in response to changingoperational demands and staff availability.
Coordinatewith HR and relevant departments to lead staff leave andovertime.


Communicationand Coordination:
Serve as the primary pointof contact for communication within the command center and withother departments.
Facilitate coordination betweendifferent teams and departments to ensure smoothoperations.
Maintain clear and accurate records ofcommunications anddecisions.

PerformanceMonitoring andReporting:
Supervise the performance of the commandcenter identifying areas for improvement.
Prepare andpresent regular reports on operational metrics resource utilizationand incident response.
Analyze data to identify trendsand recommend improvements to processes andprocedures.

Complianceand Standards:
Ensure all command center operations followrelevant laws regulations and organizational standards.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry best practices andstandards.
Implement and make sure standard operatingprocedures(SOPs).

QualificationsCompetencies &Approach

Bachelors degree or equivalentexperience in business administration operations Masters degree orequivalent authority field. Masters degree or equivalent experiencepreferred.
Shown experience in operations planningresource management or a related role.
Experience in acommand center or facility management environment is highlydesirable.
