Primary
Purpose: The Change
Manager is responsible for managing the change process within the
organization’s IT department. The role exists to ensure that standardized
methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all
changes, in order to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon
service quality, and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations of the
company.



Key
Activities:



·        
Develop
and maintain the change management process in accordance with ITIL guidelines.



·        
Facilitate
the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to assess and authorize changes.



·        
Ensure
that changes are recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, planned, tested,
implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner.



·        
Monitor
the change implementation, manage change conflicts, and provide a final review
to ensure successful change deployment



Key
roles responsibilities and accountabilities:



·       Change
Planning and Control: Create and manage change implementation
plans, ensuring minimal disruption to services.



·       Risk
Assessment: Evaluate risks and impact of proposed
changes on services and processes.



·       Communication: Communicate
effectively with all stakeholders about the change schedule and potential
impact.



·       Documentation: Maintain
accurate records of changes, including status and post-implementation reviews.



·       Policy
and Compliance: Ensure all changes comply with
organizational policies and regulatory requirements.



·       Continuous
Improvement: Analyze change records and feedback to
improve the change management process



 



Job
requirements and qualifications:



·     Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.



·     Experience: Minimum
of 3 years of experience in change management or a related IT management role.



·     Certifications: ITIL
certification is preferred.



·     Skills:





  • Excellent
    organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Strong
    communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge
    of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficient
    in project management software and tools.
