Requirements
  • Designbuild and maintain cloud infrastructure using native cloud toolsfor backup patching monitoring and securitycompliance.
  • Continuously seekopportunities to enhance cloud service offerings and support thecloud services platform.
  • Monitor andmanage multiple cloud solutions to meet projectrequirements.
  • Address incidents andservice health issues in accordance with service levelagreements.
  • Collaborate with a CloudEngineering team using Agile methods like Kanban to track workitems.
  • Advocate for cloudnativesolutions and patterns to improve platform and projectoutcomes.
  • Develop and deployinfrastructure as code following bestpractices.
  • Use CI/CD tools such asAzure DevOps to create pipelines for building and releasinginfrastructure.
  • Maintaindocumentation for standard operating procedures and knowledge basearticles.
  • Participate in a 24x7oncallrota.

ProfessionalExperience:

Essential:

  • Extensiveexperience building and deploying solutions in GCP usinginfrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform Google CloudDeployment Manager).
  • Experienceimplementing CI/CD pipelines (preferably with AzureDevOps).
  • Proven skills in scriptingor programming for automation (e.g. Python BashPowerShell).
  • Experience withmonitoring and logging tools for cloudenvironments.
  • Deep knowledge ofnetworking troubleshooting andconfiguration.
  • Strong understandingof cloud security best practices including identity and accessmanagement network security encryption and incidentresponse.
  • Familiarity with Agileprinciples (e.g. Kanban andSCRUM).
  • Operational experiencesupporting cloud environments.
  • Atleast one cloud certification (e.g. Associate CloudEngineer).

Desirable:

  • Additionalcloud architect or developer certification (e.g.GCP).
  • Experience with microservicesand containerbased systems (e.g. DockerKubernetes).
  • ITILexperience.
  • SCRUM/Agilecertification.
  • Experience with othercloud platforms such as AWS orAzure.
  • Knowledge of cloud costoptimization andgovernance.
