Company Overview: mySmartVFO is a provider of Virtual Finance Office and Virtual HR Support Services to start up and mid sized business enterprises, mostly corporates set up in India. The team is currently focussed on finance & accounting, compliances, payroll and HR. The firm is in the process of setting up a verticle for Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis as a new service line to cater to the existing clients and new opportunities. mySmartVFO is established in Bengaluru and is looking to expand and set up units in Tier-2 cities in the near future.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately processing the company's payroll, including tax calculations and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and deduct appropriate amounts from payroll, including taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Address any payroll-related queries or concerns from employees.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure payroll compliance.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems.
  • Generate and maintain accurate payroll records and reports

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Executive or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax calculations, and relevant legislation.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in payroll processing or related field is a plus
