We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) to lead our BIM (Building Information Modeling) initiatives and oversee the integration of cutting-edge technology to streamline project collaboration and data management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in standardizing Revit processes, providing support and training, and managing the entire BIM process from project inception to completion, with a specific focus on interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BIM360 Integration:
    • Spearhead the integration of the BIM360 suite of tools, managing projects hosted on this platform to enhance project collaboration and data management, particularly for interior fit-out projects.
  • Revit Process and Template Standardization:
    • Design and review custom components, edit templates, and create project documents to standardize Revit processes, significantly enhancing consistency and productivity within the organization.
  • Support and Training System:
    • Establish a robust support system by providing desk-side and remote assistance, conducting training sessions, and maintaining documentation standards for team members, ensuring efficient workflows and effective knowledge transfer.
  • Existing Condition Modeling:
    • Demonstrate expertise in existing condition modeling and project setup support, facilitating seamless project initiation and improving overall project efficiency for interior fit-out projects.
  • Model Management and BIM Strategy:
    • Act as the lead Model Manager, overseeing the entire BIM process from project inception to completion. Craft and execute tailored BIM strategies for each project, resulting in streamlined project delivery and increased client satisfaction.

  • Proven experience in integrating and managing BIM tools, particularly the BIM360 suite.
  • Extensive experience with Revit, including designing custom components, editing templates, and creating project documents.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of standardizing processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Excellent support and training capabilities, with experience in both desk-side and remote assistance.
  • Expertise in existing condition modeling and project setup support.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee the entire BIM process and craft tailored BIM strategies for various projects.
  • Specialization in managing interior fit-out projects using BIM technology.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
