Job OverviewJio is seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join our team in Mumbai or Gurgaon. This full-time role requires proficiency in developing scalable backend systems with Golang, Docker, and Kubernetes expertise. You will work on deploying microservices and RESTful APIs, contributing to innovative solutions within Jio's digital ecosystem. Your role will enhance the end-user experience by developing robust, cloud-native applications that support our expansive service offerings.


  • Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Golang with experience in deploying microservices and RESTful APIs (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong understanding of data structures and sorting algorithms to optimize code performance.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a focus on deploying cloud-native applications.
  • Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL for relational database management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for debugging and optimizing complex code.


  • Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with various digital services and platforms.
  • Deploy microservices architecture using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring smooth production releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues across services and levels of the infrastructure stack.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure the scalability of developed solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
