About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Golang Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing high-performance applications using Go, working closely with our cross-functional team to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend services and APIs in Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps, to deliver seamless and integrated solutions.
  • Architect and design robust systems that can handle complex data flows and large-scale applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug Golang applications, identifying performance bottlenecks and proposing enhancements.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Optimize existing systems and plan for future enhancements to improve functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new tools, and best practices in Golang development, applying these to improve the development process.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years dedicated to Golang development.
  • Strong understanding of Go routines, concurrency, and multithreading.
  • Experience with RESTful and gRPC APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Solid understanding of database design and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, TDD, and other testing frameworks for Golang.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience with stream processing, messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and its application in backend development.
  • Contributions to open-source Go projects or involvement in the Go community.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
