Texas EducationAgency requires the services of 1 BusinessAnalyst 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meetsthe general qualifications of Business Analyst 3Applications/Software Development and the specificationsoutlined in this document for the Texas EducationAgency.

All work productsresulting from the project shall be considered works made for hireand are the property of the Texas EducationAgency and may include preselection requirements thatpotential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfycriminal background checks as authorized by Texas law.Texas Education Agency will pay no fees forinterviews or discussions which occur during the process ofselecting a Candidate(s).

TheBusiness Analyst (BA) position at the Texas Education Agency workson multiple projects that support the mission of the agency ofimproving outcomes for Texas students.

Thisposition performs advanced seniorlevel business analysis work. Theposition may support more than one project or be assigned tospecial projects at any time. The business analyst serves as theconduit between the program/customer community and the softwaredevelopment team through which requirements flow. This BA will beinvolved at some level throughout the entire software developmentlife cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline thefocus is shifted towards the management of the requirementsspecification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirementsincluding requirements for enhancementspostimplementation.
