KeyResponsibilities:

Branch Compliance:

Oversee legal compliance at all branches of theorganization ensuring adherence to NBFC regulations.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensurelegal compliance at the branch level.

Regulatory Liaison:

  • Act as the primary point of contact forregulatory bodies related to branch operations.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting branchactivities and communicate updates to relevantstakeholders.

LegalSupport:

  • Providelegal guidance and support to branch operations including but notlimited to customer interactions loan transactions and otherfinancial activities.
  • Review and draft legaldocuments related to branch activities.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess legal risks associatedwith branch operations and develop strategies to mitigate theserisks.
  • Work collaboratively with riskmanagement and compliance teams to ensure a comprehensive riskmitigation approach.

Dispute Resolution:

  • Handle and resolve legal disputes arising atthe branch level including negotiations and alternative disputeresolution methods.
  • Collaborate with externallegal counsel when necessary.

Training andAwareness:

  • Conducttraining sessions for branch staff on legal compliance and riskmanagement.
  • Foster a culture of legalawareness and compliance within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Law degree from a recognizedinstitution.
  • Bar admission and indepthknowledge of banking and financial regulations.
