Responsibilities:

  • Monitor database activity in realtime and investigatesecurity incidents to ensure promptresolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders toaddress security concerns and improve database securityposture.
  • Stay uptodate with emerging security threats andindustry best practices to continuously enhance databasesecurity.
  • Participate in the design implementation and deliveryof Cyber Security applications and appliances including Guardiumdatabase activitymonitoring.
  • Participate in the daytoday operations and maintenanceof the security engineering team and associatedappliances.
  • Able to research evaluate troubleshoot and devisecourse of action for security hardware/software and tools to makeoverall impact on the enterprises existing securityenvironment.
  • Implementing security controls policies and alertingwithin enterprise databaseplatforms.
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL database platformsecurity
  • Expertise in database threatanalytics

Experiencerequired:

  • Experiencein working on Database activity monitoring (DAM) solutions fromImperva or Any DAM Tool.
  • Clearunderstanding on the attributes nuances place holder for all theevents generated by DAM tool.
  • Databasemonitoring (Imperva) for data security (L2 level) Concepts of datasecurity
  • Developand maintain security policies rules and procedures to detect andprevent unauthorized access and malicious activities.
  • Generalunderstanding of application layer security concepts applicationlayer Web and/or database protocols.
  • Experienceimplementing or managing data centre security or databaseapplications.
  • Installationand monitoring of Imperva Secure Sphere Server and Gateway Devicesfor DAM
  • Monitoringof the Databases and Instances Analyse any DAM related incidentsand Escalate the incidents
  • Provenknowledge of Database Activity Monitoring and real time incidentreporting
  • Installationand maintenance of Agents for DAM operations
  • System/ServicesMonitoring troubleshooting and maintenance of PAM servers Good tohave advanced skills or knowledge in some of the following: Unix /Linux Operating System Configuration &Troubleshooting

Requiredskills:

  • Database Activity Monitoring (granular event level andattribute level preferably Imperva DAM onpremises and cloud)
  • Impervadatabase activity monitoring (Anycertification)
