Azure Infrastructure Engineer

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a AzureInfrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role involvesdeploying managing and optimizing Azure resources while ensuringtheir security performance and compliance. The engineercollaborates with clients crossfunctional teams and seniorengineers to provide exceptional support for our managed servicesclient portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist inthe deployment and configuration of Azure resources includingvirtual machines databases and Azure App Services following bestpractices and clientrequirements.
  • Utilize Azure Migrateto assist with migrationprojects.
  • Monitor theperformance security and availability of Azure services andpromptly address any issues oroutages.
  • Perform serverupdates and apply securitypatches.
  • Identify futureengagement opportunities during existing client engagements andconvey those needs to account executives and practiceleadership.
  • Participate in anoncallrotation.
  • After hours / weekendwork may be arequired.
  • All other duties asassigned.

Requirements
  • Advanced degree orrelevant certifications in Information Technology or a relatedfield are aplus.
  • Accountability todrive resolution tocompletion.
  • Familiarity with theAzurePortal.
  • Knowledge ofMicrosoft Office 365 suite including Outlook SharePoint Teams andOneDrive.
  • Troubleshoot andresolve common problemsefficiently.
  • Proficiency inscripting languages (PowerShell / Azure CLI) to automate tasksdeploy resources and manage Azureinfrastructure.
  • Familiarity withcloud computing concepts such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service(SaaS).
  • Effective verbal andwritten communication skills to collaborate with clients teammembers andstakeholders.
Preferred KnowledgeSkills andAbilities:
  • Two ormore years in IT or working with cloudtechnology.
  • Experience workingfor anMSP.
  • Ability to identifyand resolve common Azurerelated issues including networkconfigurations security settings and performanceoptimization.
  • Create detaileddocumentation for configurations troubleshooting procedures andsolutions.

Advanced degree or relevant certifications in InformationTechnology, or a related field are a plus. Accountability to driveresolution to completion.
