This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Cloud Engineerto join our team. In this role you will beinvolved in troubleshooting and resolving issues optimisingperformance cost optimization and ensuring the security of ourcloud environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifies andresolves problems related to public cloud infrastructure in atimely manner and analyses informationskillfully.
  • DevelopInfrastructure as Code to build and maintain public cloudenvironments.
  • Update and maintaingitrepositories.
  • Focuses on solvingtechnical problems in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Contributes to thedevelopment of strategies policies and best practices throughparticipation in team meetings and other directcontributions.
  • Provides technicalguidance and end usertraining.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science or related technical field or equivalentexperience in lieu ofeducation.
  • 2 years of experienceand knowledge of public cloud (Azure andAWS).
  • Ability to automatewith Infrastructure as Code using a variety of technology types(ARM CloudFormation Terraform Ansible PythonPowerShell).
  • Crossfunctional ITexpertise (storage network and databaseinfrastructure).
  • Strong experiencewith both Windows and Linuxservers.
  • Experience withknowledge of public cloud compute and storage technologies usedwith Azure (Disk Blob Files) and AWS (EBS EFSS3).
  • Experience withknowledge of public cloud networking architecture used with Azure(vNet load balancers Virtual WAN VPN Express Route) and AWS (VPCload balancers transit gateway VPN DirectConnect).
  • Experience withknowledge of public cloud identity and access managementmethods.
  • Excellentdocumentation intercommunication and interpersonalskills.
  • Initiatesprofessionalism excellent leadership interpersonal andcommunicationskills.
  • Works independentlyas well as in a cooperative teamenvironment.
  • Demonstrates fast andindependent learningcapabilities.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Atlassiantool suite (Jira Bitbucket Confluenceetc.).

  • Artifact binaryrepositorymanagement.

  • Scripting experience(Bash Ansible Python Groovy Powershelletc.).

  • Experience withInfrastructure as Code(IaC).

  • Knowledge ofconfiguration file types (YAMLJSON).

  • Familiar with DevOpspractices.

  • Have a strong sense ofnetworking in publiccloud.
