We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

AWS Cloud Engineer

to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for leading our cloud infrastructure efforts, ensuring the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and robust systems on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on optimizing our deployment pipelines and system reliability.Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation :Architect, implement, and manage AWS-based infrastructure to support scalable and high-availability applications.Design cloud-native architectures, including serverless and container-based solutions, to meet organizational needs.Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance optimization.DevOps & Automation :Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to automate provisioning and management of AWS resources.Automate monitoring, alerting, and incident response using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, or New Relic.Leadership & Collaboration :Lead a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals, mentoring junior members and fostering a collaborative environment.Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with infrastructure.Establish and maintain best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and DevOps processes.Operations & Monitoring :Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application deployment.Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability solutions.Security & Compliance :Ensure adherence to security best practices, implementing necessary guardrails, identity management, and access control (IAM).Regularly audit and update systems to ensure compliance with industry standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.Manage AWS security services like WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and IAM.Qualifications

Experience :5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a focus on AWS.Proven experience in leading and managing infrastructure projects and teams.Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, etc.).Skills :Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Proficiency in CI/CD tools and processes: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline.Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS) and containerization (Docker).Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Knowledge of networking concepts, VPC, VPN, and load balancing (AWS ELB/ALB).Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana.Soft Skills :Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications

AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar).Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.Knowledge of security frameworks and tools (CIS benchmarks, Nessus, AWS Security Hub).
