GeneralDuties:

  • Manage thepreparation of monthly business unit and consolidated financialstatements.
  • Create and manage the preparationof weekly and monthly reports to support departmental and businessneeds.
  • Prepare detailed internal financialreports including researching and explaining significant variancesby working closely with various departments andmanagement.
  • Provide assistance to theCorporate Controller Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager onkey accounting tasks/deliverables. Provide ad hoc financial reportstables exhibits as requested.
  • Assesses theneeds of the business prioritize projects and drive new reportingrequirements to completion.
  • Prepare andanalyze financial statements monthly including: income statementbalance sheet and statement of cash flows.
  • Document business transactions.
  • Perform quality assurance and deliver recurring reportsaccurately and ontime.
  • Prepare financialreports by collecting formatting analyzing and explaininginformation.
  • Interpret and analyze financialinformation posted to general ledger accounts.
  • Review investigate and correct errors and inconsistenciesin financial entries documents and reports.
  • Play crucial role in implementing new software fordepartment improvement and efficiency.
  • Investigate and report to the Manager any inconsistenciesor improprieties.
  • Research balance sheet itemsand income/expense fluctuations utilizing various systems andinformation sources.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

CA and/or CA preferred but not required.

5 years of relevant accounting/financial analysisrequired. 3 years of supervisory experience in an Accountingmanagerial role required.

Expert user of theMicrosoft suite of products including Excel Word and Outlook MSDynamics Great Plains.
