Purposeofrole:

Responsiblefor delivering the credit risk strategy through portfolio andrelationship management using sound technical capabilities toanalyse counterparties assign credit ratings support criticalcredit risk activities and stay abreast of external developments toensure standard methodologyprocesses.

KeyResults /Accountabilities

Implementday to day customer credit related operational tasks to ensuredelivery meets partner and customer expectations and is consistentwith set process performance indicators applicable service levelagreements customer functions core values and policiesestablished.

Specificallytheywill:

  • Providesenior leadership recommendations on key and strategic accountsrisk assessments on new applications and scheduled reviews throughthe analysis of financial information and related credit agencysupplied information e.g. Cash flow statements profit& loss balancesheet
  • Bethe SPA for the business credit risk performance and input tostrategicdirection.
  • Providea key issue and consultation point on all Level 1 2 & 3applications and credit decisions across the local and regionalcreditteam.
  • Meetexternally with key customers and senior business leaders wherefurther information is required to be acquired to assess theirfinancialposition
  • Playa key role in critical issues of legal recoveries and keymanagement reportinginformation
  • Leadcontract transition and management of the continuous improvementprocess for a revised Dealer securityposition
  • Callout issues of noncompliance to the relevant DOAholder
  • Evaluatebusiness from a Return on Risk perspective in addition to a creditlens on key decisions and critical issues from the Level 1 2 and 3reviews as the needarises.
  • Compliancewith Group Credit Standard andPolicies.
  • Maintaincustomerfiles
  • Inconjunction with a regional Credit team recommend and facilitateappropriate payment plans for customers including monitoring &reporting onprogress
