JobDescription:

Our clients Data platform consists of a seriesof Pythonmicroserviceswhich becomeintegrated through REST andRabbitMQ.Weare looking for a QA Lead to ensure the highest quality of ourplatform including both backendmicroservices andthe UI client developed using Anvil.

Responsibilities

Leadership andManagement:

Lead the Quality Assurance team with handsonguidance and mentorship.

Plan and manage the hiring of qualityassurance staff as needed.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement andinnovation within the QA team.

Quality AssuranceStrategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive automatedquality assurance strategies.

Define and track KPIs such as test coveragedefects per release and efficiency metrics.

Establish testing standards and efficientprocesses for developers.

Test Development &Integration:

Design and develop test cases test data andtesting scripts for various testing levels:

Unit Integration Functional Performance Load& Regression.

Work closely with Developers Project Managersand Users throughout the SDLC.

Automate the regression suite for each ofthese testing functions using scalable testingframeworks.

Implementation &Automation:

Lead tool selection and technicalimplementation approach.

OverseePoCimplementations endtoend testPoCs sizing andplanning.

Drive UIautomation and servicebyserviceimplementation.

Technical SkillsRequired

10 years of professional experiencedeveloping reviewing understanding andimplementing high quality test cases that comprehensively cover alltesting aspects of the application or system in order to ensureProduction readiness.

7 years of strong handson experience withvarious QA Automation tools such as:

Selenium Cypress CucumberJMeterFitNesseJUnitLoadRunnerSONAR.

7 years of handson experience withPython.

Stronghandson experiencewithpytestfor writing and executing testcasesparticularly for backend Pythonmicroservices.

Must be able tointegrate pytestwithin the CI/CD pipeline ensuring automated execution of testsduring the development process.

Expertise inanalyzing testresults identifying trends and generating comprehensive reports forstakeholders.

Abilityto create and maintain automated test scripts ensuringrepeatability and efficiency in the testingprocess.

Familiaritywith PostgreSQLand SQLite constructs specifically in thecontext of testing.

Ability to manually query the database usingSQLto further triage oranalyze a failedtest.

Experience invalidating data integrity consistency and performance withindatabase systems.

Must have a workingunderstanding of containerizationtechnologiesspecificallyDocker as theplatform ultimately runs onDocker.

Ability to manage deploy and troubleshootDocker containersto ensure seamless integration with the existinginfrastructure.

Experience with container orchestration andmanagement tools such as Swarm ComposeKubernetes.

Familiarity with cloudnative technologies andservices is essential for ensuring that the platform performsoptimally in a distributed cloudbasedarchitecture.

Experience in designing and executingcloudbased testing strategiesincludingperformance scalability andsecuritytesting.

Ability to leverage cloudspecific tools andservices to automate testing simulate different environments andanalyze resultsin real time.

Soft SkillsRequired:

Strong verbal and written communicationskills.

Ability to leadand guide geographically dispersed teams.

Energetic selfdirected and comfortable in afastpaced environment.

Team player with good interpersonal skills andquick to learn.
