Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience Required: 5+ years in QA Automation with Python

Job Type: Full-time

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Selenium to ensure product quality.

2. Develop and enhance the test automation framework to support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.

3. Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases for automation and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test solutions.

4. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.

5. Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing as needed.

6. Troubleshoot issues with automation scripts and provide quick resolutions to keep the testing process on track.

7. Document, maintain, and monitor automated tests for functionality updates and enhancements.

8. Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests with end-to-end build and test environments.

9. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and share knowledge with the team.

10. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA automation engineers.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

2. 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation with a focus on using Python for test automation.

3. Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools.

4. Proficient in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases.

5. Familiar with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

6. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test automation scripts.

7. Knowledge of SQL and scripting to verify database-related testing.

8. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

9. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

3. Ability to manage priorities and tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

4. Leadership qualities and experience in mentoring junior team members.
