Job Description

As a Quant Analytics Associate Sr in the Data and Analytics team, you will be a key member of the connected commerce Analytics team. You will work closely with Product Owners to deliver insights in terms of descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. You will strive to build consensus with Product Owners on if, where, when, how, and whom to promote customer engagement by defining metrics, sourcing data, developing queries, and creating reports

Job responsibilities

Create data points using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy Rationalize complex normalized data sets allowing for ease of cross org consumption Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders for decision making Bring in experience in the production, optimization and automation of recurrent reports Analyze travel-related data to understand customer behavior and trends across different channels. Monitor and assess the impact of guardrails on customer journeys to ensure a seamless booking experience. Identify key entry points in the customer journey and optimize them for improved conversion rates. Design and conduct experiments to measure the effectiveness of new features or changes in the travel booking flow. Collaborate with Product team, other Data & Analytics teams, and Channels team, to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences from an end-to-end experience. Develop and maintain Adobe Analytics dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators. Utilize heatmaps and other visualization tools to identify areas of improvement in the user experience.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Strong Adobe Analytics knowledge and degree in quantitative or related field Being able to demonstrate initiative, completing projects/tasks independently is highly desire Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation  Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx and Tableau Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and SQL DBs Adept at explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertise Intellectually curious and eager to learn new things with an eye for innovation Being able to demonstrate initiative, completing projects/tasks independently is highly desire Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks Good written and oral communication skills  Operational business knowledge of processes, data, controls, and technology platforms

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelors with 6+ years of analytics experience Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning Strong SQL skills with the ability to pull data using multiple joins, sub-queries, and advanced functions in an enterprise-scale database environment (Teradata, Hadoop, AWS, Demonstrated experience with business intelligence and data wrangling tools such as SAS EG, SAS Viya, Python, Snowflake and Alteryx is key Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation (Tableau preferred) Basic skills with JIRA, Confluence Familiarity with Cloud (AWS, Snowflake) based data solutions and tools Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
