We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in litigation management to join our client, a leading player in the infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all litigation matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, mitigating risks, and representing the company’s interests effectively in all legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
Litigation Management:
- Strategize, plan, and oversee all litigation matters, including civil, criminal, arbitration, consumer disputes, and regulatory issues.
- Manage high-stakes litigation cases related to infrastructure projects, contracts, land disputes, and corporate matters.
- Liaise with external counsels, law firms, and consultants to ensure effective legal representation.
- Review and provide legal advice on pleadings, notices, and other legal documents.
- Proactively identify legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the infrastructure sector.
- Monitor changes in legal regulations and advise management on implications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual disputes and claims.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements, joint venture contracts, and other legal documents.
- Ensure adherence to RERA, environmental laws, and other sector-specific regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals to ensure efficient handling of legal matters.
- Provide legal updates, reports, and strategic advice to senior management.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
RequirementsKey Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in litigation, especially in infrastructure, real estate, or construction sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of legal frameworks including property law, contract law, RERA, arbitration, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- LLB or equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
Requirements
