Position: Business Development Intern
Location: Remote 
Duration: 3 months

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager Intern, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the organization. This role is ideal for candidates with a keen interest in sales and business development and some prior experience in similar roles or internships. You will gain hands-on experience in lead generation, market research, and client engagement strategies.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Research and Analysis :
    • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends.
    • Analyse data to understand customer needs and market opportunities.
  2. Lead Generation :
    • Identify and qualify new leads through research, networking, and other methods.
    • Maintain an updated database of prospective clients.
  3. Client Engagement :
    • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients.
    • Schedule and participate in client meetings, presentations, and calls.
  4. Sales Support :
    • Work alongside the sales team to develop proposals and pitch presentations.
    • Assist in preparing reports and documentation for client meetings and internal reviews.
  5. Strategy Development :
    • Support the team in brainstorming and executing business growth strategies.
    • Assist in creating strategic plans to expand into new markets or sectors.
  6. Collaboration :
    • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals.
    • Provide feedback from clients to improve products and services.


Requirements
  1. Education:
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Some prior experience or internships in business development, sales, or marketing is preferred.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of business development and sales strategies.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
  4. Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
    • A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Analytical Abilities:
    • Ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Flexibility:
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
