About the Role


As an Engineer Business Intelligence in our FSDI BI Team, you’ll play a key role in development and design of QlikSense dashboards which is robust in nature for Markets Squad.

What will your day look like?

Developing blueprint for data modelling landscape for wider Finance BI requirements. Provides estimates of time and resources for delivering programs . Defining and constantly updating the routine support work to day tasks. Proactively collaborate with PO / Team Lead to understand business requirements & the ROI value for BI Solutions. Proactively and frequently communicate with Finance community to build and maintain a solid working relationship. Plans, directs and participates in complex system Implementation and testing for the Finance systems Automation Solutions. Defines reference data standards for all financial reporting, enabling consistent user experience across the finance community. Process controls and checks are established and followed by the team to ensure constant Financial Systems integrity or systems, processes and data.

What will you bring?

QlikSense Developer individual with a strong technical and analytical background having 10+ Years of experience. Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management. Extensive Business Intelligence and operational solutions experience. Ensuring the data model is free from errors and testing the linkages across multiple sources. Proficient in QlikSense Scripting and UI. Involved in full life cycle implementation of Business Intelligence projects with Design & Development of Dash-boards. Support ad-hoc requests/queries, new development/design from customers or business in a timely manner. Good Communication Skills with managing the team of 3 to 8 people. Deep understanding about Project Lifecycle Management using agile methodology. Implementation of framework so that commonly used coding and features can be reused with minimal impact to wider applications. Having better understanding and exposure of Qlik In house objects, Qlik Extensions & Vizlib Extensions. Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices. Implements a culture within FSDI, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation. Leads collaborative squads to Automate and Build innovative solutions using the BI tools and practices.  Undertakes current processes study and provides 'Fit for Purpose' design for Business Intelligence using the industry best practices. Uses tools and frameworks to test & deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing FSDI BI capabilities.
