Role Summary


This role will be a part of the CWIFI team. This team is responsible for managing the Sophos access point devices from cloud. The access points can be registered to Sophos cloud and can be configured remotely. Sophos cloud not only continuously monitors these devices, but also sends out notifications and alerts to a network admin on various preferred events. The CWIFI team owns the design and development of this angular UI, Java Spring based micro services and AWS cloud infrastructure for this entire orchestration.We are looking for a Full stack developer for managing and advancing a cloud-based network security platform that handles tens of thousands of devices and customers. You will build features from the ground up using sound design principles around security and scale. 

What you will do

Be able to interact with product managers to define the feature and write clear functional specs. Work with the frontend team to define the API contracts for the backend services. Work on critical field escalations and drive closure. Work on prototypes that are pre-cursors to features on the product roadmap.

What you will bring

Up to 2-3 years of total and relevant experience as a full stack developer Proficiency in Java and the Java Spring Boot framework, along with Angular. Excellent design skills using principles of reuse, modularity, scale, etc. Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms. Good understanding of, Microservice architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure, SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with network security domain is preferred.
