The security product team is determined to challenge the status quo by creating innovative solutions that empower all engineers to have a greater security impact in a fraction of the time - using data as a source of truth to allow for seamless collaboration and problem solving between Dev, Ops, and Security teams. Join us in our journey to make the digital world a safer place.Product Managers in the security space will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and innovations from inception to execution while representing the voice of New Relic customers and partners. We value pragmatism, honestly, simplicity, and iteration to solve some of the most challenging problems our customers face. Product Managers in security will often need to partner with other product teams to uncover new use cases and then create rapid prototypes of a proposed solution focused on the end-to-end user experience. You’ll work closely with the Product organization, the broader security organization, and Go-To-Market to validate your findings, set business KPIs, and adoption goals of new security products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of our flagship security products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to drive the product roadmap effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing security products, a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and trends, application security, and the ability to translate customer needs into innovative solutions. What you'll do Drive and own the product requirements and execution for the next set of innovations and optimizations in the New Relic Security portfolio partnering with other product leaders in Security and across portfolios, APM, Infrastructure, and Logs to drive value for customers Build a data-driven roadmap working closely with key stakeholders that include customers, other product management leaders, engineering, sales, support, and designers Establish, analyze, and report on clear metrics and KPIs to meet area-specific OKRs that continuously evaluate portfolio performance and feature usability with a direct feedback loop into the product roadmap Effectively manage dependencies, priorities, and plans across multiple functional areas across New Relic to ensure alignment to meet business goals Work closely with Marketing, Sales, PR, Design, and Support teams to successfully bring to the market new application security features Seek and implement automated and self-serve solutions for other product teams, stakeholders, and customers Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape and identify key areas of competitive differentiation and market disruption Be bold to challenge the status quo and drive outcomes This role requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Computer Science or InfoSec background preferred 5+ years of experience building and launching technical products as a Product Manager Ability to analyze data and use it to deliver innovative capabilities Ability to identify customer requirements and ship delightful customer experiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to bring clarity in the face of ambiguity Ability to write product strategy and roadmap and clearly describe initiatives via customer value proposition to users' journey. Bonus points if you have Hands-on experience working with design, build wireframe and clearly articulating the user journey Prior SaaS product experience with a developer persona Experience with business systems like Salesforce, Zuora, NetSuite, and Snowflake Experience with enterprise products Experience with observability products/tools Experience with SaaS billing models and monetization of features Experience as a threat researcher and writing about findings Experience in Generative AI and public cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) infrastructure services Experience with Vulnerability Management, Application Security Testing, SIEM/SOAR, or Threat Detection products/tools
