Job Overview


We are hiring a PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team at Podar International School. As a PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, implementing the Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum, and fostering social and emotional development in students.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Junior: 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a PYP or IB school
  • Knowledge of the PYP curriculum and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Familiarity with Cambridge Board or other international educational boards is a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Create and deliver engaging and student-centered lessons based on the PYP curriculum
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development
  • Implement differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary units of inquiry
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
