Posi&on Summary:The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing allaspects of
electrical and instrumentaCon projects, frominiCal cosCng and design to project handover. This
roleinvolves extensive technical experCse, project management skills,and collaboraCon with
various teams to ensure thesuccessful execuCon of projects. The Electrical Project Manager
plays a pivotal role in the planning, execuCon, anddelivery of electrical systems within EPC
(Engineering,Procurement, and ConstrucCon) projects.
KeyResponsibili&es:
1. Project Cos&ng andBudge&ng:
o Collaborate with the esCmaCng team toprepare accurate cost esCmates for
electrical andinstrumentaCon components.
o Ensure that project budgetsare well-defined and adhere to cost control
measuresthroughout the project lifecycle.
2. Design and MaterialSelec&on:
o Work closely with design engineers todevelop electrical systems and
instrumentaCon soluConsthat meet project specificaCons.
o Assist in the selecConof materials, including electrical panels, cables, automaCon
systems, and other relevant components.
3.Technical Exper&se:
o Provide technical guidanceand experCse in electrical and instrumentaCon
systems.
o Review and approve technicaldocuments, drawings, and specificaCons.
4. ProjectPlanning:
o Develop comprehensive project plans, includingCmelines, resource allocaCon,
and procurementschedules.
o Coordinate with other project managers anddepartments to ensure seamless
integraCon with overallproject plans.
5. Project Execu&on:
oOversee the execuCon of electrical and instrumentaCon works atproject sites
across India.
o Monitor progress,quality, and safety compliance.
o Resolve technical issuesand challenges that may arise during construcCon.
6.Vendor Management:
o Evaluate and select subcontractors,suppliers, and vendors for electrical
components andservices.
o NegoCate contracts and ensure compliance withproject requirements.
7. Quality Assurance andControl:
o Implement quality control measures to ensurethat electrical systems meet
industry standards andproject specificaCons.
o Conduct regular inspecCons andquality audits.

8. RiskManagement:
o IdenCfy potenCal risks and develop miCgaConstrategies to minimize project
disrupCons.
oProacCvely address any issues that may impact project Cmelines orbudgets.
9. Client Communica&on:
oMaintain regular communicaCon with clients to provide projectupdates and
address their concerns.
o Ensureclient saCsfacCon and manage expectaCons effecCvely.
10.Documenta&on and Repor&ng:
o Maintainaccurate project records, including documentaCon of design changes,
approvals, and project progress.
o Generateregular reports for senior management andstakeholders.
11. Health, Safety, and EnvironmentalCompliance:
o Ensure compliance with all safety andenvironmental regulaCons and standards.
o Promote aculture of safety on project sites.
12. ProjectHandover:
o Facilitate the smooth handover of completedelectrical systems to the client.
o Ensure that allnecessary documentaCon and training are provided to the client's
operaCons team.
Qualifica&ons:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relatedfield.
Proven experience in project management,parCcularly within the electrical and
instrumentaCondomain.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems,materials, and instrumentaCon.
Excellent communicaCon andleadership skills.
Project management cerCficaCon (e.g.,PMP) is a plus.
Familiarity with relevant sodware toolsand project management sodware.
