JobResponsibilities: Contribute to theachievement of Business Plan objectives andtargets. Provide full Architect s servicesas described in the RIBA Plan of Work and the Standard Form ofAgreement for the Appointment of an Architect. Liaise with and give advice to a widerange of clients and external and inhouseconsultants. Provide and maintain highstandards of design specification construction and contractmanagement. Ensure compliance with clientsStanding Orders Codes of Practice and Acts ofParliament. Assist the Team Leader in themanagement of design projects from briefing tocompletion. Prepare and check drawings andspecifications for schemes for technical accuracy and compliancewith appropriate current standards. Allocatework to a project team and take day to day responsibility for thedirection of the team as nominated by the TeamLeader. Plan and monitor the time and costsassociated with projects as allocated and take management action toensure that the agreed rate of return isachieved. Assist the Team Leader in theassessment of team resource capacity and to allocate and monitorwork undertaken by members of the team.Ensure/contribute/lead on the delivery of quality assured clientfocused products and services to meet agreed clientrequirements. Ensure the implementation andcompliance of all GCEPL policies. Contributeto the operation and development of the Business Management Systemto ensure the continuous improvement of quality assuredservices/products for clients. PromoteSustainable Design within the team and within projects whereveropportunities are available. Carry out otherduties appropriate to the level and character of thepost.Technical Skill SetRequired: Practical understanding ofstructures specifications and detailed drawings for buildings andother structures. Logical analysis ofproblems Ability to tackle nonconventionalstructure.Personal/Behavioural Skill SetRequired: Ability to guide Architectures /Draughtsman Good communicationskills Team player Practical andCreative Able to accept responsibility andwork without supervisionFunctional Skill SetRequired: Sound knowledge of softwarerequired for designing (Autocad Revit Photoshopetc.) Interpretation of analysis results forpossible solutions. Proficiency with MSOffice. Capable of guiding others on use offoreign codes. Should be able to form coreteam for executing time bound project. Fixup priorities as per sitefeedback.
