What you will be doing:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team with a major client and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.

Working on a major project with a key client you will be involved in:

  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
  • Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency
  • Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of strong Banking solutions or Banking experience in Payments/ Retail / Commercial banking domain. Prior Experience in one or more of the FIS payments products like IST Clearing, IST MAS, Data Navigator, IST Switch or similar payments switching/back-office payments products including knowledge of the AS2805 or ISO8583 standards.
  • Strong experience in Software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Should have in depth experience in Payments and in Cards product.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and Access
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced operations center environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with associates and all levels of management.
  • Multi-task and detail-oriented with ability to work with little supervision.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and strict timeframes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations of an internal business segment, division, group or line of business. Assist management in resolving business issues in an effective and productive manner. Design, document and re-engineer business processes and publish business metrics results.
