What you will be doing:

  • Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.
  • Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.
  • Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.
  • Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.
  • Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.
  • Creates and maintains complete documentation relative to the support of application software.

What you bring:

  • At least 7 -10 years in experience in Application Support and Production support
  • Good experience Open Shift, Unix Shell scripting
    Hands on experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud products.
  • Ensure availability, reliability and performance of OpenShift/Container Platform..
  • Knowledge in Support and Monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace
    Application Production Support Experience
  • Experience in Troubleshooting Incident Triaging, Log analysis, Platform Stability
  • Knowledge in Incident, Change Management
  • Knowledge in Control M or Batch job process
     

Added Bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge in Splunk would be added advantage.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting Java/J2EE application related issues.
  • Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
