Role Summary:
oDesign, build, scale, and evolve our current large scale systems and their next generation
Responsible for data engineering functions including, but not limited to: data extract, transformation, loading, integration in support of enterprise data infrastructures – data warehouse, operational data stores and for master data management Responsible for data services and data movement infrastructures Implements concepts of programming such as data structures, error handing, data manipulation and I/O processing. Implements database concepts and practices including definition and query language Prepares project plans and uses flowcharts and data flow diagramming to create program design concepts Creates detailed system design documentation Design and maintain well-structured relational database schemas Create automated ETL pipelines for a variety of raw manufacturing data sources Research and develop new data storage architectures for growing data volumes Analyzes requirements and architecture specifications to create detailed design May provide technical advice and training and mentor other associates in a lead capacity Minimum Six years of experience SQL Server as a Database Platform Working experience with ETL concepts and building ETL solutions Experience with SSIS Mid to Senior level experience in Oracle database concepts and Oracle-SQL Experience with ETL Tools such as ODI, Informatica, Data360 Proficient in Data warehousing concepts and up to date Data Integration patterns/technologies Exposure to Data Lake, MDM and Data Quality aspects Experience with prototyping & automating Data Integration Processes Experience with Physical Performance Optimization of SQL Server Databases Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles is a plus Good written and verbal skills are required Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology Related Discipline is preferredNote: Functional and Technical skills/competency are listed below

üWorks closely with project manager to develop work plan for Data Warehouse projects and keep the manager aware of any issues
·Develop, refine and scale data management and analytics procedures, systems, workflows, and best practices
üSupporting the development group by providing API's and performing middle-tier application development
·Work with application developers and DBAs to diagnose and resolve query performance problems
üProviding analytical network support to improve quality and standard work results
·Work closely with data scientists/other teams to assist on feature engineering, model training frameworks, and model deployments at scale
üProviding accurate estimates for project development and implementation. Work with various stakeholders and functional head - to meet those estimates
·Work with Project Management to provide timely estimates, updates & status
üDevelop framework, metrics and reporting to ensure progress can be measured, evaluated and continually improved
·Work with the Product Management and Software teams to develop the features for growing and adding value to business objectives of the department/organization
üPerform in-depth analysis of research information for identifying opportunities, developing proposals and recommendations for use by management
üSupport the development of performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with senior leadership and sales management
üWork with huge data sets and work with MIS, Analytics, CVM and IT Digital and data center teams for various data ingestions, integration, data output display and digital assets build up and management
üAssume ownership over certain components and continuously work to improve them
üEstablishes privacy/security hierarchy and regulates access
üDetermines data retention and archiving policies
üDevelops training strategy of these tools/digital assets
üLiaison to technology team/ database manager for on-going metadata and change management processes
üDetermine KPI requirements for multi-channel campaigns; assist with the measurement and campaign reporting
üManages requirements of data append/ rentals
üAd hoc analysis and project leads
üPerform development and operations duties, sometimes requiring support during off-work hours

üAbility to communicate and discuss software components in simple, general terms with business partners and in great detail with software development engineers
üStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
üThe ability to develop reliable, maintainable, efficient code in most of SQL, Linux shell, Java and Python
üStrong knowledge of various data warehousing methodologies and data modeling concepts.
üAbility to write high quality, maintainable, and robust code, often in SQL, PL/SQL,
Strong data handling /modelling skills and excellent knowledge of Oracle SQL, Presentation build and communication of findingsIncumbent Characteristics

BE Technical and or related Graduation degree
Specific technical courses in - Warehousing, MDM. Data Lake shall be an added advantage
Prior strong experience in SQL based development / data warehouse working knowledge and implementation experience on same in financial industry is desirable
Exposure to Data Lake and MDM is preferred
Experience
10 years minimum
Exposure to Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Synapse environments is advantage
Profiles from BFSI/Life Insurance sector shall be preferred
