Position: Supply Chain Specialist III Location: Foster City CA 94404 Duration:12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite JobDescription SpecificResponsibilities & Skills for the Position:
  • Works on nonroutine to routine problems whereanalysis of situations or data requires an evaluation ofidentifiable factors.
  • With guidance may exercise independent judgment indeveloping methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtainingresults.
  • Ensuresrecordtracking of pertinent data is being completed throughcomputerized systems.
  • Analyses nonroutine information or data to supportSupply Chain activities e.g. inventory levels prices and trackingof shipments inventory positioning material deliveries plannedmaster production schedule and sales forecasts.
  • Initiates or receives requestsfor routine changes affecting inventory levels e.g. shipmentspurchases movement of stock.
  • Performs necessary transactions and records in system toreflect changes.
  • Prepares standard documents such as work orders purchaseorders material transfer requests or shipping documentation.
  • May be responsiblefor establishing timing (production schedules sequence lead timeetc.) of specific projects or activities to meet broader timeframesestablished by senior management.
  • Generating the MTRs Planners on IRT folder tocreate the IQS MTRs coordinate shipment.)
  • Tracks progress with department supervisorsreadjusts schedules and communicates changes according toproduction progress change orders manpower requirements productavailability or other conditions impacting timelines.
  • Uploads of Clinical Supply ChainDocuments file documents to the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF)
  • May coordinate withother department representatives to identify future business needs.
Knowledge Experience & Skills:
  • Works on assignments that range from routineto semi routine in nature where independent action and initiativeare required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
  • Works on assignmentswhere ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice isrequired.
  • Goodverbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsare required.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge with intermediate levelproficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to develop solutions tomoderately nonroutine problems.
  • Normally receives no instruction on routine work generalinstructions on new assignments.
  • Applies working knowledge of manufacturingand production operations and current Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMPs) daily.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 years of relevant experience in relatedfield and a Bachelors degree; or 1 year of relevant experience anda Masters degree.
