ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Describe the essential functions for which the Job is accountable. Essential Functions are those which are specific and unique to this position and when removed changes the nature of the job itself.

1. Financial Reporting – preparation of various monthly financial reporting packages (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, members’ equity, and debt covenant calculations).

2. Regulatory Reporting – preparation of various mortgage industry regulatory financial reports and other financial reports as needed to satisfy state and licensing requirements.

3. SEC Reporting – preparation of various footnotes and supporting schedules that will be reviewed or audited and included in SEC financial reporting Forms 10-Q and 10-K.

4. Other – respond to various ad hoc requests.

5. Customer Service – provide prompt, courteous and professional customer service to internal and external users of financial reporting information.

Written Communications: Able to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles

Flexibility: Given that this role involves close collaboration with the Financial Reporting team in the United States, flexibility with working hours to align with the US time zone may be necessary.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

What level of education or specialized training is required to perform the job?

§ Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

§ CPA or chartered accountant preferred.

List any special certifications, licenses, and/or knowledge requirements for this job:

§ Proficient in Microsoft Excel

How many years of directly related job experience are required to be qualified to enter the job?

§ 3+ year of public accounting experience or financial reporting experience

§ Familiar with SEC Form 10-K and 10-Q

§ Mortgage industry experience preferred but not required.
