Job Description

:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Management Specialist to join our SCM Operations team. As the owner of the job file, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating shipping documents and customer invoices in our system. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Bengali and English, and the ability to work proactively with customer service teams to resolve queries and exceptions.

Key Responsibilities:

File Management: Own all file management activities post-booking, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, system updates, and operational finance tasks.

Documentation: Create and update shipping documents, customer invoices, and other relevant documents in the system.

System Updates: Ensure accurate and timely updates of customer information, shipment details, and other relevant data in the system.

Operational Finance: Manage operational finance tasks, including invoicing, payment tracking, and other financial transactions related to file management.

Communication: Proactively communicate with customer service teams in case of exceptions, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and issues.

Customer Query Resolution: Support customer service teams in resolving customer queries and exceptions, providing accurate and timely information to customers.

Exception Handling: Collaborate with customer service teams to handle exceptions, including shipment delays, damages, or other issues that may arise during the shipping process.

Requirements:

Language Skills: Fluency in Bengali and English is essential for this role.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, logistics, or supply chain management.

Minimum 2-6 years of experience in file management, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years of experience in customer calling or customer service.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics or supply chain management software is an advantage.
