Position Description:

Role: Offshore Salesforce Senior Tester
Job Role/ Your future duties and responsibilities

•Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications.
•Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Salesforce-specific tools like Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic.
•Collaborate with Salesforce developers and administrators to resolve issues and ensure the successful deployment of solutions.
•Implement and maintain automated testing processes using JAVA(Selenium) and Robot Frameworks, and Salesforce-specific tools such as Salesforce DX and Apex testing frameworks and Selenium. Having Cucumber testing experience is a plus.
•Should have experience interacting with Salesforce Objects and Backend Components using Automation tools.
•Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on Salesforce testing best practices and methodologies.

Job Description

•Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
•Excellent understanding in Agile, SDLC.
•Should have good experience in Salesforce, Test automation, SFDC Testing
•Integration with CI/CD tools
•Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
•Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications.

•Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers on Salesforce testing best practices and methodologies.

Required skills
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree with 3 – 6 years of Salesforce experience.
•Should have at least 2-4 years of experience working in SFDC Testing.
•In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in testing various Salesforce functionalities including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
•Proficiency in Salesforce configuration and customization capabilities, including workflow rules, validation rules, custom objects, and Lightning components.
•Experience with Salesforce-specific testing tools such as Salesforce Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and Salesforce DX.
•Ability to write and execute test classes for Apex triggers, Apex controllers, and Visualforce pages to ensure code coverage and functionality.
•Strong understanding and practical experience in implementing automated testing solutions for Salesforce applications using tools like Salesforce DX, Apex testing frameworks, and Selenium (Having BDD experience is a plus).
•Familiarity with testing Salesforce integrations with external systems using tools like SOAPUI, Postman, Salesforce Connect, or Karate Framework.
•Knowledge of Salesforce release management processes and experience in testing Salesforce deployments across sandboxes and production environments.
•Preferred certifications in Salesforce such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM ), Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM ).
•Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Salesforce developers, administrators, and stakeholders to drive resolution of issues and ensure alignment on testing objectives.
•Experience working in Agile development methodologies, particularly within Salesforce development projects, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Preferred skills
•Experience on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
•Salesforce Certification and Prior CRM experience is a plus.
•Experience in integrating with CI/CD (Jenkins/Git/Bitbucket)
•Experienced in Agile / Scrum methodology and familiar with tools like JIRA.
•Excellent technical leadership and communication skills with proven ability in collaborating with clients, onsite counterparts, third party vendors & team members.
•Experience in Testing Salesforce applications that supports in Mobile and desktops.
•Experience in Salesforce Lightning Experience, Salesforce Classic, and Salesforce DX.
•Good to have knowledge on Robot Framework, Cucumber
