JobSummary:

The ExportMarket Development Manager will be responsible for identifyingdeveloping and managing international markets for our MMF shirtingand suiting fabrics. The role involves market research buildingstrategic partnerships and ensuring compliance with internationaltrade regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven trackrecord in international sales and market development within thetextileindustry.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • MarketResearch andAnalysis:
    • Conductcomprehensive market research to identify potential exportmarkets.
    • Analyzemarket trends competition and customer preferences in targetregions.
    • Preparedetailed market entry strategies for newregions.
  • StrategicPlanning andExecution:
    • Developand implement export strategies to achieve sales targets and marketgrowth.
    • Identifyand establish relationships with key distributors agents andpartners in targetmarkets.
    • Developpricing strategies and negotiate contracts with internationalclients.
  • Salesand BusinessDevelopment:
    • Drivesales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunitiesin exportmarkets.
    • Managethe entire sales cycle from lead generation to closingdeals.
    • Collaboratewith the production and logistics teams to ensure timely andefficient delivery of products to internationalcustomers.
  • RegulatoryCompliance:
    • Ensurecompliance with international trade regulations export controls anddocumentationrequirements.
    • Stayupdated on changes in trade policies tariffs and import/exportregulations in targetmarkets.
  • CustomerRelationshipManagement:
    • Maintainand enhance relationships with existing internationalclients.
    • Addresscustomer inquiries resolve issues and provide excellent aftersalessupport.
    • Gatherfeedback from customers to inform product development andimprovement.
  • ReportingandAnalysis:
    • Monitorand report on sales performance market trends and competitiveactivities.
    • Prepareregular reports for senior management on export activities andmarketdevelopments.
    • Usedatadriven insights to refine and improve exportstrategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in International Business Marketing or a related field.MBApreferred.
  • Minimumof 2 years of experience in international sales and marketdevelopment preferably in the textileindustry.
  • Proventrack record of developing and growing exportmarkets.
  • Strongunderstanding of international trade regulations andcompliance.
  • Excellentcommunication negotiation and interpersonalskills.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
  • Proficiencyin multiple languages is aplus.
  • Willingnessto travel internationally asrequired.
  • Knowledgeof Surat s textile market and industry dynamics is highlydesirable.

Key Responsibilities: Market Researchand Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identifypotential export markets. Analyze market trends, competition, andcustomer preferences in target regions. Prepare detailed marketentry strategies for new regions. Strategic Planning and Execution:Develop and implement export strategies to achieve sales targetsand market growth. Identify and establish relationships with keydistributors, agents, and partners in target markets. Developpricing strategies and negotiate contracts with internationalclients. Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth byidentifying and pursuing new business opportunities in exportmarkets. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation toclosing deals.
