The Information Security Architectcontributes the advancement of the Banks Information Securityprograms capabilities through developing communicating andimplementing a security architecture and secure developmentpractices that increases the security of the Banks systems. Thisposition collaborates with key stakeholders of business projectsand initiatives and works closely with related teams. NOTES:
  • This is cloud security architect AWS experience insecurity as well as Hybrid Cloud Deployments AWS Security Specialtyor Azure a big plus
  • Highly Skilled inTerraform / Terraform Enterprise 5 years experience
  • Highly Skilled in Vault Secrets Management
  • AWS Solution Architect Associate or greater
  • AWS Experience in cloud security 5 to10 years ofexperience
PrimaryResponsibilities:
  • Establishes a strategic security architecture visionincluding standards and frameworks that are aligned with theoverall business and IT strategies
  • Acts asinformation security subject matter expert; provides advisory andconsulting services to business IT departments and ISmanagement
  • Works closely with EnterpriseArchitecture and Application Development to enhance the securityposture of new and existing systems
  • Works todesign security architecture evaluate risk posed to theorganization from and ultimately approve the implementation ofsystems and applications into the environment
  • Assesses the state of the information security programusing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the FFIEC CyberAssessment Tool to identify gaps and works with appropriatestakeholders to remediate deficiencies
  • Participates in the development of information securitystrategies roadmaps policies and standards
  • Ensures systems and applications are implemented withcompensating controls to meet regulatory requirements (GLBA SOXHIPAA FFIEC etc.) as well as other organizational compliance (PCI)requirements
  • Tracks metrics for compliance toIS standards by application and system owners
  • Develops and mentors team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relateddegree
  • Eight (8) years experience inInformation Security with a focus on software development secureSDLC or security architecture

  • Experience in the design and implementation of securitysolutions

  • Expert levelknowledge of security principles
  • In depthknowledge of security solutions tools methodologies andtechniques
  • Strong project managementskills
  • Thorough understanding of risksassociated with virtualization and cloudbased computing and theimpact of those technologies on an organizations securityposture
  • Excellent customer service skills andproblem resolution
