Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for administration, maintenance, enhancements, configurations of Atlassian Cloud Suite (Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management (OpsGenie), Confluence, and Bitbucket)

Manage all capabilities associated toJira projects, workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, permission schemes, and associated notification schemes

Manage all capabilities associated toConfluence spaces, pages, templates, and permission schemes

Analyze requestsfor new Jira and Jira Service Management functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests, and handle or route appropriately

Maintain a healthy Jira and Confluence project environment by periodically reviewing configurations, permissions, workflows, reports, and dashboards

Plan, create, and maintain the appropriate documentation, inventory assessments, and procedures related to administration of the applications, system

Work with stakeholders to assist them in building Jira based reports, dashboards, and planning views based on different user requirements to provide them with actionable project metrics and status reports where appropriate

Build, develop and maintain custom integrations (out-of-box and custom scripts) with 3rd party applications via REST APIs

Handle escalations from the service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end user issues

On-call support

Primary Skills & Experience

1+ years of relevant experience administering project, productivity, and/or service management software

Technical knowledge of Atlassian Cloud Administration

Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical support. 

Communicates positively and effectively with customers, coworkers, and stakeholders to understand administrative needs and resolve support issues

Understand a variety of different business needs and processes currently using Atlassian tools, and recommend automation of business processes where appropriate

Proactively finds improvement areas and does not need daily supervision

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Office 365

Nice to have

Project management experience in an Agile environment, specifically use of Jira to support Agile processes

Experience with the Advanced Roadmaps/Plan feature in Jira

Experience in administration of add-ons and integrations to maximize efficiency in tool utilization, including Scriptrunner for Jira

Holds one or more active Atlassian Certifications

Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Powershell, etc). 

Experience administering ProductBoard, DocuSign, LucidChart, and/or Workday
