ROLESAND RESPONSIBILITYResponsible for the production and quality of products completingdaily reports forproduction and payrollreporting purposes. Responsible formaintaining/enforcing safe working conditions and ensuring thatallEnvironmental Health and Safety and OSHAregulations are met. Schedules and directsleads utilities and mold changers in the MoldingDepartment. Works with production control toobtain molding requirements. Monitorsproduction inventory and minimizes scrap in the department. Workswith theMolding Manager to continuallyimprove the molding process. Works onmaintaining the Methodology of Lean Manufacturing in thedepartment. Trains all personnel in thedepartment. Ensures that all personnel are trained withthehelp of trainers andleads. Reports all department and personnelissues. Resolves personnel issues inaccordance to Company Policy Guidelines.Troubleshoots and resolves moldingprocesses. Inspects and updates all set upsheets. Keeps department running withminimum down time. Continuously looks forways to reduce costs in the department.Maintains department ISO procedures. Workswith the Molding Manager to maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM)program. Keeps the Molding Department inorder through 6S standards. Schedules anddirects mold changers through quick mold change (Quick Die SetUp)methodology.Continuously improves manufacturing operations through the use oflean enterprisepractices and 6S principlesthroughout manufacturing. Keepsmanufacturing equipment operating by enforcing operatinginstructions; workswith the Molding Managerand maintenance personnel to maintain PMsystem
