JobSummary:

We are looking fora skilled Firmware Developer to design developtest and maintain lowlevel software for embedded systems. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in firmware development adeep understanding of hardwaresoftware interaction and experiencewith embedded C/C programming. You will work closely withcrossfunctional teams to deliver highquality firmware for a varietyof applications.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • FirmwareDevelopment: Design and implement firmware for embeddedsystems ensuring efficient and optimizedperformance.
  • HardwareInteraction: Collaborate with hardware teams tounderstand hardware specifications ensuring seamless integrationbetween hardware andfirmware.
  • Testing andDebugging: Perform unit testing integration testing anddebugging of firmware to ensure it meets performance andreliabilityrequirements.
  • CodeOptimization: Optimize firmware for performance memoryand powerconsumption.
  • Documentation:Write clear and concise technical documentation for developedfirmware andprocesses.
  • Collaboration:Work with crossfunctional teams including hardware engineerssoftware developers and QA to ensure smooth projectexecution.
  • ContinuousImprovement: Stay uptodate with the latest trends andtechnologies in embedded systems and apply them whererelevant.
Qualifications:
  • Education:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering ComputerEngineering Computer Science or relatedfield.
  • Experience:
    • 35years of experience in embedded firmwaredevelopment.
    • Experience withembedded systems development usingC/C.
    • Experience with RealTimeOperating Systems (RTOS) and baremetalsystems.
    • Familiarity with hardwareinterfaces (e.g. SPI I2C UARTUSB).
    • Familiarity with embeddedprocessors (e.g. ARM CortexMicrocontrollers).
  • Skills:
    • Proficiencyin embedded C/C programming.
    • Strongunderstanding of hardware/softwarecodesign.
    • Experience with debuggingtools (e.g. JTAG oscilloscopes logicanalyzers).
    • Knowledge of versioncontrol systems likeGit.
    • Understanding of communicationprotocols (e.g. Bluetooth WiFiZigbee).
    • Knowledge of bootloadersmemory management and peripheraldrivers.
PreferredQualifications:
  • Experiencewith lowpower embeddedsystems.
  • Knowledge of signalprocessing algorithms.
  • Experiencewith continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) inembedded projects.
  • Knowledge ofsecurity practices for embeddedsystems.
SoftSkills:
  • Strongproblemsolving and troubleshootingskills.
  • Excellent communicationskills and ability to work in a collaborativeenvironment.
  • Attention to detail anda commitment toquality.
