Overview:The ETLTester with Python and PL/SQL expertise plays a critical role inensuring the quality and accuracy of the ETL processes within theorganization. They are responsible for testing validating andoptimizing data loading and extraction processes to support theorganizations datadriven decisionmaking. This role is crucial inmaintaining data integrity and compliance with regulatorystandards.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop and executeETL test cases and scenarios
  • Identify anddocument ETL process errors and dataissues
  • Collaborate with data engineers anddevelopers to troubleshoot ETL code
  • Automatetest cases using Python scripting
  • Validate datatransformation and aggregationalgorithms
  • Conduct performance tuning andoptimization of ETL processes
  • Create andmaintain ETL test plans anddocumentation
  • Participate in data validationand reconciliation activities
  • Ensure dataquality and integrity through comprehensivetesting
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of ETL testing methodologies
  • Workclosely with crossfunctional teams to support datarelatedinitiatives
  • Provide input into ETL design andimplementation reviews
  • Execute data analysisand adhoc queries to support testingactivities
  • Conduct root cause analysis for ETLfailures
  • Report test findings and recommendsolutions to stakeholders
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ETLtesting
  • Proven proficiency in ETL tools andprocesses
  • Strong knowledge of Python for testautomation
  • Experience in PL/SQL scripting anddatabase querying
  • Understanding of datawarehousing concepts and methodologies
  • Abilityto conduct data analysis andvalidation
  • Experience with version controlsystems such as Git
  • Knowledge of data qualityand integrity principles
  • Ability to work in acollaborative teamorientedenvironment
  • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills
  • Good understanding of SDLCand testing methodologies
  • Strong communicationand documentation skills
  • Attention to detailand focus on accuracy
  • Certifications in ETLtesting or related areas is aplus
