Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced HR Admin for our Ambattur location in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As an HR Admin, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department and ensuring smooth HR operations. This is a full-time position with a mid-level experience requirement of 4 to 6 years.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience as an HR Admin or in a similar HR support role
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR department by handling HR documentation, filing, and record keeping
- Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process by preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and managing exit procedures
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and assist in organizing company events
- Assist in payroll and attendance management
- Handle employee queries and provide basic HR guidance
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned
